Adopt a free Live Oak sapling with purchase of a $25 FOLO Membership for 2026 & completed Adoption Agreement.
Additional trees are available for adoption at a $25 price per tree as well (typically live oak saplings cost $50-$75 when available from local nurseries). All saplings for adoption have been grown locally.
Live oak saplings will be available for pickup at VA Tech AREC (Agricultural Research and Extension Center), 1444 Diamond Springs Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23455.

You can help us with this event in several ways:
1- If you are interested in adopting a tree, please print and complete the attached form, scan or take a photo and send it back to me, and we will add you to the list for adopting a tree! Payment can be made at time of pickup by cash, check made payable to Friends of Live Oaks, or by PayPal ( we can walk you through the PayPal payment process at the event).
2- Feel free to share this info on your social media accounts, or by forwarding this email to any friends or folks in your circle that you think may be interested in adopting a live oak.
3- If you would like to help us at the event, please email me and advise what time frame you can plan to be there to help.
